A lot of the people were in since they were promised 8 times the money they invested. Of course in few months the scheme creator ran away with the money and most of the idiots who sold their homes and cars to earn as much as possible were left with no money. Even now, after more than 10 years most of them weren't refunded and some lost all their savings. The most important thing in any economic venture is to UNDERSTAND how it's going on and IF IT'S VIABLE.
